A little gem of a rock shop, full of really cool fossils and certified wood and gorgeous amethysts etc etc. Prices are reasonable. They also have huge pieces of petrified wood and other large pieces outside that would b e great landscape focal points.

We did not visit the museum- only the rock shop next door. The kids loved it there! There were rocks and crystals at all price points from large to small. My only complaint is that the store wasn’t very wheelchair accessible (lots of steps inside).

Even though a lot of the rock specimens are not from the area, they are indeed well labeled for where they do come from. The atmosphere makes browsing comfortable and prices are not unreasonable.

My sister and I visited RMNP and passed this family-run shop on our way out. We had fun perusing the landscape section outside, watching the wildlife, but the selection inside was what made it worth the stop. Many fossils, sculptures, and household items (e.g. Himalayan...More
