I went during a weekday, in August, so I didn't expect a busy beach. I imagine it is much busier at other times of the year and on weekends. But it was a nice, clean, wide beach. Some covered picnic tables. Plenty of parking.

We stood on the pier and watched men catch sharks. Lots of fishing and a place to eat. This was worth the trip.

Great pier for fishing, and watch Texas surfing contest, and the restaurant has great food, but you do have to pay to get on the pier.

You can watch the sunset and moonrise from your table. Food is good and decently priced. There is live music in the evenings too. There is also a fishing pier, but it costs money to even go on it. Great place to watch the surfers...More

Very busy place, they did not have the drinks we wanted, disapointed! Watch the staff look for the people that the orders belong to. They look lost. Drink i order was water down. Will try again when not a holiday.

I don't think so. It is a pier on the beach. There are enough picnic tables but a place to camp? I didn't see it
