We booked the CSI room. We've done about 10 rooms in the past, and this one was fun, but we were frustrated with some of the elements. That said, lessons learned for our next room. We tend to like rooms that take you to other rooms, and this one is just simply one very small room. Additionally, it wasn't very well lit, having new contacts that seem to have issue with small print in the dark, I had to rely on my son a lot to help read different clues. The person working was extremely nice and helpful.

We've been to a lot of escape rooms. The room itself was technically set up well. However, the place was very dirty. The waiting room had dust and dirt all over the floor, and the couches were dirty and stained. The room itself was clearly uncleaned.

Other escape rooms we've been to, the staff gives a super nice intro, explains everything very well, there's a video to watch, excitement is built up. Here, the (nice) lady just said like a few memorized lines and sent us on the way.

A lot of room for improvement. No way should they be charging top-price for this.

Room was small and hot with no working A/C. Despite the heat, the host kept coming into our room to hassle us about making our face masked cover our noses. We’re in a 10x10 room, with 6 close family members, touching everything in the room floor to ceiling, and he thinks these cheap blues face masks are going to stop the spread of Covid? The room was filthy and aged anyway, and if your gonna die of coronavirus, it won’t be because you weren’t wearing your mask. Do the math—you can’t ‘social distance’ in a tiny room with six people passing props around to each other. Many of the props are ‘soft’ goods, fabric, stuffed animals, which are impossible to disinfect. But the business persists on inflicting it’s COVID politics on its patrons. The host was rude, cold, and not any fun at all. I’m not going back, and I’ll tell all my friends it sucks.

This place was recommend to me by some friends of mine. Although I wasn't fully aware of what it was we decided to go. We went on Valentine's Day and it was the greatest date ever. I would recommend bringing enough friends to fill the room otherwise you may get stuck with strangers. Even with a few people we didn't know it was still such a blast! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good mystery to solve.

We had so much fun trying to put all the clues together that the hour flew by! I highly recommend this for a fun date night or family get together! Here are a couple of ideas to organize the chaos that ensues when you're in a time crunch with a group. Designate a coordinator; someone who writes things down and to whom everyone reports what they've discovered. Designate a place to put clues and then move them somewhere else after you've discovered how to use them. We were in Room 1, Anything But Elementary. I can't wait to try the other rooms!

SLC's newest hidden gem! If you're familiar with the smartphone "Escape the room" games, you'll be able to grasp the concept: find enough clues so you can find the key and get out! The only difference is you have to figure it out in 60 minutes and you can't use Google to cheat if you get stuck. :)

Did this with a couple of friends recently while I was in town and we were able to get out with a minute to spare!!!!! I won't give away the secrets, but be prepared to give your brain a workout. I've done "Escape the Room" and "Room Escape Adventures" in NYC, and I have to say it: these guys are doing it better (not to mention for 1/2 the price. NY rooms charge $30 a pop!) Utah always get a lot of slack for being boring and not "up to par" with the bigger cities, but Downtown SLC is FINALLY starting to come into it's own (attractions, festivals, farmers markets, cool bars, museums, restaurants, etc.).

It's nice to have another reason to go downtown that's not temple square or "the club". Here's hoping this is just the beginning! BTW, they are at the top floor of the red brick building directly across from the courthouse. Wasn't too hard to figure out. There's metered parking around back as well as a parking garage for $5. We ended up parking there and going to Takashi afterwards (just down the street). Only the one room is finished right now, but the website states two more are on the way! Definitely coming back for room 2!

My friends and I were debating between this and a movie. This was SO much more fun than just another movie! Would be perfect for a group date, too - good way to get to know each other better! The people working there are very nice and very helpful and they'll even give you clues. Even if you don't escape, you have so much fun it's totally worth it! Took a couple of minutes to find it, though, so FYI: top floor of the red brick building just west of the restaurant building on the NW corner of 4th and 4th.

It was a fun way to spend an evening. Take along your smartest and creative friends. This is not an experience for observers or lazy thinkers. You really need to think outside the box and constantly improvise. No we didnt make it out, but really close. It took us a bit of time to start thinking creatively enough.

We have done the CSI room and the Impossible room. We had a GREAT time trying to figure out the clues and solve the mysteries. The CSI was my favorite, we will definitely be coming back again. Next up is the Lair of Lunacy and then their new one coming up, SHERLOCK!! So excited.

We did the CSI room with Tess. She was a fun, delightful, and helpful host.

We had 8 total people that had booked this room including us. It was fun working with strangers to try and solve the puzzles. I wouldn't recommend less then 8 as we were able to solve it with about 7 minutes to spare. The level of difficulty for this room was great if you are a Beginner at escape rooms.

Sorry no hints on how to solve this room. My only advice is to look at everything all over the room.

I definitely will come back and try some of there other rooms.
