Freezing cold but sunny day. Lots to see including a real crocodile. It looked a bit cramped and we couldn't find out whether he had a bigger pen. It's not the best place to visit if you have mobility issues or pushchair. Our 7 year...More

It was pretty good, a lot to see, bigger than I thought it was going to be. Lots of different lizards, the iguanas are so pretty! Very steep hills though with a mini bush walk which was very pretty

This place could be really cool, had there been info/fun facts posted (aside from just the species names) for the animals. Also, my 6yr old found it hard to see into some of the enclosures. Maybe some built in stools for the kiddies? Also felt...More

Have been here twice now - both on grabone deals. It's a bit run down but the kids don't care - they love their reptiles and there are plenty there! Great if you are heading to Leigh (Goat Island) for some snorkeling (before or after)...More

Our group was so surprised by what we got at the Reptile Park. To be honest we thought it would be small and just alright, but we were amazed at what was there, and how big and well displayed everything was, clearly a lot of...More

Bought tickets via Groupon, which made it very cheap. Facilities are a bit run down but animals well cared for. Was much better than I expected it to be. Kids loved it.

We spent nearly the whole day at the Reptile Park today, exploring the park twice ... we liked it that much! Animal enclosures are situated in easy walking distance of each other, following a beautiful nature path that is steep at times. Sorry, but the...More

There is such a broad range of creatures with the majority being reptiles. Our 11 year old son was completely mesmerised and then excitedly checked out the next enclosure only to exclaim with excitement again. Amazing to see tuatara in real life and as for...More

We have been here many times over the years and every time it is breath taking and simply amazing, set among beautiful New Zealand bush, sad to see the news about the monkeys, but the selection of New Zealand Fauna is very cool, will be...More

It is quite obvious this place has seen better days, and in need of a bit of TLC. However, the owners do their best to keep all the creatures in apparent good health with lots of space for each species. We went there with the...More
