A fantastic, unexpected view. We stayed nearby and happened to come across this and the nearby Bright Lookout whilst driving to our accommodation. Superb to say the least.

We drove up to the lookout. The last 100m of road is really very full of potholes. The view is nice over Cessnock and the Hunter Valley.
We were so disappointed with the upturned brunt out car, the huge amount of rubbish( mainly fast food) and graffiti over the picnic table and anything else they could paint.
So sad that a few undesirables destroy a potentially beautiful spot.

A dirt track leads off the look-out site and is ideal for hikers and walkers because it is undulating, shaded by trees and there is an opportunity to see wild-life.

Have seen better views, was muddy slippery road, totally ignored at Tallavera Grove for tasting. Go to Briar Ridge friendly, staff, great wines.

A pleasant day drive to this lookout of the area. East drive up the hill on sealed and dirt roads and both are suited got standard cars.
