Quite well marked way to the castle ruins. Nice view from the top. Last steep 50m may be a bit difficult for older people.

Old and ruined castle is situated in the middle of nature. You can enjoy nice views all around. From Borinka it is about 30 minutes by walking on sharp hill. You can also walk from Marianka. It is about 1,5 - 2 hours trip.

Long trip from Marianka up to the castle. With small children (from 5 years) nice long walk, but really long. Beautiful forest and view. Better start is from Borinka church.

In the UK health and safety would have put fences and supports everywhere, but the derelict charm of the Hrad is a popular place to cook sausages on an open fire. The march up the hill is not for the fainthearted, but the forest and...More

This place is well hidden from the public which is really a shame. The castle is from the 13th century but burned down in the 18th century but what is left looks amazing. The view from the top is amazing and it is well worth...More
