This park has some great trails. The trails are for the most part away from the road so the sound pollution is minimal.

Lots of short trails many branch off to others. We spent a few hours here. Enjoyed the overlooks for Frederick and Middletown. Easy to get to off the interstate.

This is place you want to go for a mountaintop high in the immediate vicinity. Gambrill has excellent walking trails and decent parking there are picnic facilities, and the views are pretty good depending on where you are in the park. The temperature will vary...More
