The East Palisades unit of the Chattahoochee Recreational Area is spectacular. Not only are there excellent views of the Chattahoochee river, awesome trails, river access for paddling, but also an amazing bamboo forest. There's something for everyone on this trail!

This trailhead led to lots of smaller, connecting trail options. The hikes were extremely well-marked with lots of map signs. Good terrain, gorgeous environment, and lots of river access, which my dog loved!
