This graveyard was very beautiful old historic so much history. We drove around there’s a lot of hills and we also happened to drive by General Pickett’s grave. Worth the trip.

We brought a stroller bound toddler and 5 adults up here to explore the park, and honor the memories of the deceased residents of the cemetery. We hiked, visited the presidents, governors and dignitaries and were very glad we came.

A must see for those who appreciate U.S. and Virginia history. In particular, Civil War history buffs. It is never very busy and there is no admission fee. Much hilly walking. May be difficult for the handicapped in wheel chairs.
