Although the pictures on the advertisements looked promising, we did not get the opportunity to witness these miracles of nature with our own eyes, as upon arrival we noticed a sign telling us that the caves were closed due to maintainance works. Which was quite...More

This cave system is one of the most amazing sights you will see. The rock formations are incredibly big, beautiful and are still growing and changing. Some of the caverns are enormous and deep but there are places when walking through where even shorties like...More

Fantasy is only exceeded by reality. The tourist path was skipped by our guide, so we rappelled off pist underground in these grottos for 7h. Certainly an out of my confort zone experience

We drove here from Cagliari for the day, the tour lasts around 45mins or so. The caves are beautiful and impressive, with little water beds through sections of them. The guide spoke in both Italian and English, she was informative and translated everything in English...More

Lovely caves, beware over 600 stairs to negotiate. No English speaking guide on the visit we did but there often is if you are prepared to wait. Audio guide will soon be available

We visited these caves on the final day of our holiday. It is about an hour's drive from Cagliari Airport westwards towards the coast. The access is by good quality dual carriageway as far as Iglesias, and then a windy road over the mountains. The...More

You will need some fitness and stamina to appreciate this wonder of nature. There is a very steep climb to that cave entrance where guided tours are compulsory. There is no flash photography so be sure to set your camera on manual. The walk extends...More
