Nice university with plenty of photo opportunities around a few blocks. Beautiful architecture and works of art. Friendly people, some food trucks.

This college is incredibly beautiful and very easy to just walk around, we went without a tour guide and still had an amazing time!
The architecture and art of this campus is really lovely, so if you're in the area I would highly suggest to take a little time to wander around because it's definitely worth it.

Impressive amount of art on campus made for a great walk. Some of the architecture is worth paying attention to as well. There is an interactive map available on line that will point you to things worth seeing. Street parking was difficult to find so we left the car in a reasonably priced lot.

For good pictures a nightshot might be better. Buildings are impressive with all these famous scientist enscripted. Gives you the feeling this is where the innovations come from.

The guide had no clue and did not seem interested in the tour. He could not even answer the easiest questions. What a waste of time and money!

One of the world 's leading educational institutions, with an emphasis on math and sciences, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology is located on the banks of the Charles River. Not far from MIT, a restaurant called Cafe Luna. The food there is delicious.

I took the campus tour that was open to the public, and it was great. It was so exciting to be able to visit such an amazing institution. The architecture was amazing, as was the tour guide, Jessica. I would highly reccomend it.

We signed up and took the official tour. It was way way way too long. First everyone sits in a small auditorium and we listened to a staff member talk for 1/2 hour in excruciating detail about the admissions process. Some random fast facts and 2 minutes of questions. This lady was totally self absorbed and could not read the audience that we were there to see the campus, not listen to her blab her head off.

So the tours were led by students. We saw most of the campus and it was 1.5 hours of listening to a college kid, all of his opinions and mostly the outside of buildings.

The tour was free, but at least one full hour too long.
