Legend has it that a troll uses this for a bathtub. And it sure does look like it. Never seen anything like this before. There’s a viewing platform that lets you observe Brimketill from a safe distance. You can take a walk along the beach...More

Very nice and very beutiful place, with very convenient access. Still I won't recommend coming speacilly, but only if you're anyway in the area.

It was windy and drizzly when we stopped. Amazing beautiful view and was splashed by the waves. Seaweed flying through the air. If you don't have waterproof clothes a change of dry things is nice to have with you.

Stopped here during a Travice tour of the peninsula. Worth a stop and look. Just part of the amazing landscape.

This was a great stop along our trek around the Reykjanes Peninsula. So pure! So breathtaking! And the smell was so clean! Really enjoyed this stop.

It is OK but there are so many more beautiful coastal areas. OK hike and cliff views but it's not all that and a bucket of chips.

This is a great quick stop along the road that runs around the Reykjanes Peninsula, about 20 minutes from Grindavik. The person at our hotel who advised us to visit here called it a natural hot tub. Now, it’s not hot, and you can’t swim...More

But the so called kettles are not much to see. I would exchange this for any beach walk in Iceland. Skip it if your in a hurry.
