Little is mentioned of this place in the tour guides. It is something to see and a stop while driving around the Reykanes peninsular.

You don't need to spend hours here but we loved it. The crashing waves, and coastal scenery were beautiful to witness. We loved the mythology from the area and had a great time here soaking in the views and snapping some photographs.

I suggest making time to visit Brimketill pool - it is not safe to swim in as many assume but it makes a nice photo stop.

Some beautiful views of the ocean and the black lava rock. The pools that are formed in the rock are interesting.

There's a natural pool just below the wievpoint. When it's windy, waves are splashing nicely on the shore. It's a nice point to stop and admire the coastline and sea interplay.

I was surprised how much we all enjoyed this stop. We stopped to see the pool but the coastline was absolutely beautiful. Really black rocks with the waves crashing on it. My young son was very impressed with the huge waves and we stayed longer...More

Took a stop here on our road tour. Fun to see the huge waves crashing in to the rocks.l, but if you live by the sea and see similar regularly, it may help hold less appeal. Photogenic

I really had no idea what I was looking at besides coastline that had huge waves crashing into the rocky coast. Even though it is easy to get to from the road, I would pass on this if I were to do it again. Maybe...More

Great little spot for pictures. Very cool watching the waves crashing on the rocks and seeing the little pools that have been formed. Beautifully clear water in the pools. There is parking and a little path so you can look out at the rough ocean.

This place is just a minute off the main road from Gunnuhver hot springs to Grindavík and is well worth a stop if you are driving around the Reykjanes Peninsula. The Atlantic Ocean is so powerful at this spot and the rock formations are beautiful....More
