The best of Springfield. Built when we still worried about culture for our community. The rose garden is exquisite. Make sure to check schedules for carillon, as it is the world's largest and players come from all over the world.

Beautiful park in the middle of town on the near west side. Large, well-maintained. Great kids play area, tennis courts, 2 mile walking/running route around the park. Rose garden and beautiful carillon.

We took food and ate on the picnic tables at Washington Park. It was very nice. There were lots more things there to do but it got late and we didn't get to visit the gardens, etc.

I had never heard of Belltowers before and was very impressed with the size of the bells and the beauty of the music they play. We took the tour and listened to the concert and also enjoyed the flowers and plants
