Washington Park is stunning. Very spacious and covered with mature trees. It has a calming presence and serenity to the landscaping. I was there for a “Walk To Remember” today and it was the perfect venue for that solemn ceremony.

Great place to walk in central Springfield. There are many different walking options. Access to the Carillon area as well as the Botanical Gardens area. Pets are welcome on leash.

I visit the park regularly to walk with friends. It has plenty of trees, water and wildlife to make this in-city park be a delight for the senses
