A good photo opportunity, but shame you couldn't go inside. Makes up part of Lincoln's history in and around Springfield.

It was helpful to see the display in the Library, since you can't really see anything here. The downtown area is well done showing where Lincoln lived and worked.

This would be a great place to demonstrate the non-political legal side of Lincoln. A chance for an additional glimpse into his life. The law office is close to the Old State Capital building but it's not much more than a quick photo opp at...More

Really neat to see Abe’s work. Quick and easy to view. This is located in the center of Springfield so check it out.

We were only able to see the office from outside; apparently it is not open for tours. Still interesting to see the location in proximity to the other Lincoln sites.

We were very disappointed that the Law Offices were closed for renovation. We were told that they had been closed for at least 5 years but supposedly opening again next month.

Just across from the Old State Capitol on the pedestrian street. The sign is even smaller now but the statues are still there for some photo ops.

Don’t go out of your way to stop to see words painted on the side of a building. If you are in the area it’s cool to walk by and see it on your way to the old capital.

This law office where Lincoln used to work is just opposite the Old State Capitol. You'll recognize it by a monument in front, his family escorting him out and preparing to address the audience. The office is famous also as a place where Mr. Lincoln...More

As others have said in their reviews, the building is closed for renovation. It is downtown, within walking distance of the museum, the Old State Capitol, Union Station, etc. It is a photo op for any Lincoln fan.

I think they open at 8 am. You can get on the National Park Service webpage and probably find out more info.
