I loved seeing all the open spaces for the African animals - giraffes, elephants, leopards. It seems to be fairly new and modern. I hated seeing the apes and monkeys. They looked to be in an older part of the zoo. They just looked sad...More

Thirteen years in Papillion and this zoo has never failed us. We’ve taken visitors from all over the US and HDZ is THE zoo.

There is always so much to see and do here. The Zoo is soo big that you can go in the morning and leave when they close and you probably still won't see everything!!

Everyone needs to see this place just once in their lifetime. Easy to get around every step you take allows you to see something new. They are building but there is nothing hidden from view.
