Interesting displays about native people living near the Coulee Dam before and after it was erected. Video oral histories recounted by tribal members, stories of salmon and how the problems are being solved.

The Museum has been redone and is very nice. It has rotating exhibits, a good selection of books and gifts, extremely nice and helpful staff and handmade native jewelry and gifts. It is well worth a visit, and very close to the Dam Visitor's Center.

It's small but packed with information, beautiful art and artifacts from over the years. Plus some short films. Reasonable prices in the gift shop. Loved!

I rated it average because of the aging building and sometimes strange hours of operation. However, if you are in the area of if you are a teacher close enough to arrange a field trip, this is a great place. I live locally but take...More

After recently moving to the Grand Coulee Dam area of Washington state I was amazed to find out that there was more to this area than the dam. There have been Native Peoples living, fishing, and hunting in this area. The history of these peoples...More
