I've been a member of REI since 1977. I've watched it grow and from the one store in Berkeley, CA where I could buy my climbing gear, I now have at least a half dozen in the San Francisco bay area. I've always wanted to...More

Very impressive store. The size and range is amazing. Climbing wall and mountain bike test track is crazy.

This REI is very nice. It has an excellent climbing wall. It has a lot of items but it could have more backpacker options. It is a definite spot to visit when going to Seattle.

This flagship store has everyhting for the outdoors activities, including a climbing mountain. Good for shopping (not the cheapest) and for inspiration.

This review is for the climbing pinnacle not the store. I booked a climbing session for my kids for 30 mins ($30) at REI because they have been wanting to go rock climbing and what better place to do it. All the equipment was provided...More

From pictures, I thought this was somewhere in the hills but it's actually in the city. There's large Victornix watches hanging from the beams with the time at Mt Rainer and Mt Everest, to name a few. There's a path to trial bikes and an...More
