We visited Lake Washington during a dinner cruise and experienced a fantastic view of Mt. Rainier from the water, along with seeing the ostentatious lake front homes of the famous and fabulously wealthy

In the area of the Seattle Tennis Club there are many beautiful homes on or near the Lake.
Enjoy the shoreline and beach but be aware the water is very cold. On my last visit I wore a wet suit to keep warm.
From the Lake you have beautiful views of a very special 14,000 ft. mountain - I'll let you discover the name - another must see.

The walk along the beach takes you away from all the thoughts winch causes anxiety and worries. You get the best view of the west side of Seattle. There is a coffee shop near the parking lot which serves good coffee and food.

Lake Washington is one of the dominate things that make Seattle the city that it is. It's about 22 miles long. There are so many places/parks that you can visit to enjoy the lake. It's getting a bit cooler in Seattle but there's still time to go swimming, or boating on the lake. Don't miss it if you visiting the city.

The lake was great! Warm, clean and the boat loved the rinse. The locks are kinda stressful, but worth it.

It's @ 151 Lake Washington Blvd E in Viretta Park. April 5th is Kurt Cobain's ( Nirvana) anniversary of his tragic passing as I'm sure you know.
