This was the last town on our 6 night barge journey. We visited a few of the designated sites, but strolling around this lovely town was just delightful.

This is a building worth a visit even if you are not 'of the faith'. Impressive architecture, well lit naturally, impressive stained glass, mosaic in places, and the very local inlaid pattern tiles. The whole site is well laid out, accessible, clean and well signed.

We came on a pilgrimage and only got to visit inside but it was beautiful. We did not get to have a mass inside but the surrounding grounds were lovely

This is building provides both a magnificent place of interest and at the same time has retained its atmosphere of prayer and contemplation, it is well worth a visit.

This Basilica is quite beautiful with the soaring towers and high ceiling and dome inside. Lots of stained glass windows and art works worth seeing.

This replica of the first monastery in Cluny (nearby, but destroyed) is worth visiting, incl. garden.

Nice and rather sophisticated Roman architecture worth a quick look. The cloister next door is also pleasant for s stroll. For the rest it's just a church, as a fee thousands other ones, not much to see there.

The basilica is completely renovated as well as the setting and environment. Not only the church itself, but also the town is worth a visit. It used to be a stopover for pelgrims on their way to Compostella.
