About
At the tourist office (la Maison Pénanault) of Morlaix, you also find a department of hike (ride) and natural leisure activities. We inform you to set a one-hour stroll or a 7 days roaming hike to explore the Bay of Morlaix-Monts d'Arrée, on outdoor leisures (fishing, climbing, surfing). It's also a bike rental point open all year long: mountain bikes for adults and children, baby sit, trolley, city bikes, treeking bikes, E.Bikes, even for groups.

Excellent tourism office offering really helpful information and perfect things to see and do for us and our young family. Everyone we came across in Morlaix were so kind and we had a fantastic time, so much history, none of which we missed thanks to the tourism office giving us such good information. Thank you

We visited the tourist information office to get details of cycle routes. It is set in an amazing building and staffed by charming knowledgeable people. Definitely worth a visit to get your bearings

When entering a new town we usually look up where the tourist office is to get good directions and help to choose what to see. Unfortunately this office was open only in the afternoon, at least out of the main season.

Hello ! We thank you for your opinion. We are sorry to know that we couldn't welcome you as you arrived in town. These days, the tourist board of Morlaix is open from monday to saturday from 9:00 to 12:30 AM and from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. The main entrance is an automatic door, then maybe it could have seemed close. We hope you enjoyed your stay.

I Think I'm well within my rights to give the Office a spray as they were Closed for Lunch ! Never heard of the place before but saw the Viaduct, Churches and beaut old buildings and said to the wife lets look around but couldn't find out Zip ! We were looking for detailed directions to the Great Cairn just up the road and even a local Cop struggled to explain but his description was enough to get me there ! Our GPS didn't recognise it ?? In todays cut throat world your Tourist Office has to be manned at least 9 to 5 ?? Poor show I'm afraid !

Situated in Place Charles de Gaulle, this small but modern office, is located on the first floor (lift is available on the ground floor for those with mobility issues). I had need to contact the Office de Tourisme for some general information before arriving in Morlaix, and found their help as well as response time via e-mail to be exemplary. We visited the OdeT several times during our week in Morlaix, and again found them to be extremely friendly and helpful in their advice. Got a Morlaix street map, together with the TIM bus timetables for Lines 1 & 2, the latter being essential to get to Morlaix railway station. Whilst there I did make enquiries about the availability of a “Blue Zone Parking Disc” (Disque de Stationnement), which they did not have but was directed towards the local Tabac. The nearest one I found was Le Celtique on Place des Otages, where I purchased the Disc for around €3.

Great place to start any visit, this office de tourism very well situated in Morlaix centre. A very helpful lady helped us with various activities for our familly, a town map but also a neighbourghood map easily understood in one glance. Lots of free information for a great time in a new place.

Second floor reached by a lift or staircase. Very interesting history of Morlaix during the war years and many, many years before. Well displayed, seating available in front of the small screens. Would recommend this as part of your visit to the viaduct town.

Have read that the museum is undergoing renovations. We plan on visiting to see the Australian John Russell 's paintings. Is this possible. We are in Brittany in July, 2019

Hi Dombey, the museum is undergoing renovation till 2021. Durring your stay in Morlaix, take time to visit the Maison à Pondalez. Here, it will have some exhibition, but not sure that you see some John Russel's painting.

I am organising a cycling weekend for a group of 20 women to Morlaix. Can you recommend a place to eat in the evening. The place would need to have a varied menu; enough space for our large group to eat; reasonably priced; in the centre of Morlaix. Thanks

For one night in September, on a date to be decided, I am seeking a hotel or B&B that is able to provide both a comfortable room for me as well as secure overnight accommodation for an expensive electric bike. Can you help?
