Went to Morlaix twice during our recent stay in Carantec. Such a beautiful town with lovely shops and restaurants. What grabs your attention though, right from the moment you look around is the viaduct. Built in just 2 years (1861-1863) the top part is still...More

Having a beautiful viaduct above your head as you walk the town is a great experience. The town itself is very charming, so wish I could make a more extensive review.

There is a non obvious pedestrian walkway along the lower level of the viaduct that requires some effort to climb up to, but is well worth the effort. Even more enjoyable as it is free.

What a masterpiece of a structure and tastefully lit at night. Great also when you are a little lost when driving as its a great landmark. Morlaix is a beautiful town and this is its jewell.

This is not just any old railway viaduct. It has dominated this town since 1865, and much of the subsequent development of the town centre has been influenced by it. It plays a major part in the history of the town, not least in a...More

Morlaix is a delightful Breton town, but what makes it unique is the imposing Viaduct that cuts right through the centre of the town. This magnificent feat of engineering, constructed in the early 1860’s, is today regarded as a historic monument which supports the fast...More

Nice olde town centre with many timbered buildings around 350 years old. Lots of La France vie bars restaurants and many Creperies
