A nice place to walk, beautiful views of the city. I recommend walking during high tides, at low tide river slightly stinks.

Drive the coastal route from Lannion to Locquirec and you will find yourself pulling over to admire possibly some of the most amazing beaches in Europe. Beautiful enough at high tide, but at low tide simply breathtaking, with acres and acres of sandy beach - possibly even hectares! Over every headland is yet another beautiful inlet, or beach or tidal bay - its all a bit amazing really. Lannion itself was lovely, we got there on market day (head for the tourist information centre) and theres free parking - just get in the car park and linger, people are coming and going all the time, my wife and son hopped out, went to the market, I lingered and within 3-4 minutes had parked up and joined them. Then we drove back and marvelled at the views again - it was worth it just for the drive!

All the beaches are splendid, but a Tregastel is perhaps the most picturesque. And still space even in high season.
