The chapel offers abundant beautiful views inside: It is a kind of masterpiece of French gothique, - and this in flamboyant style!!! If you are lucky there is person in the chapel to explain the history of the buildings and the artefacts.

Located on the old road leading to Douarnenz harbour, this chapel features old religious art and is also a quiet place for meditation. The guide who was present when I popped by seemed to have profound knowledge on the history of Christianity in Brittany.

This beautiful chapel is only a block away from the Port Museum (Port-Musée) of Douarnenez. We loved its 17th century painted ceiling and retable. Tours are led by devoted volunteers expert in art history. Open hours are posted on their website.
