The Viimsi Open Air Museum is situated in the ancient seaside village of Pringi in Viimsi, just a 30-minute drive from central Tallinn. A complex of seaside-farmhouses over 150 years old in the picturesque coastal village of Pringi. Here you can get a glimpse of the everyday lives of villagers, of their work on both the land and sea, of their entertainment and village parties, their market days and holiday traditions. The historical seaside atmosphere is perfect for relaxing and the best place to admire the famous silhouette of Tallinn. Themed programmes and traditional events take visitors on a journey to the coastal villages of centuries past. Estonia's most valued farm produce market is open every Saturday. A traditional playground with old-time attractions is open for children. The museum shop is renowned for its choice of marine-themed presents and books. Come take a look at life in a fishing village - come discover the history of a seafaring nation.
