I'm not into animal farming or exotic pets but my husband wanted to go here, and I'm glad we did. They talked about the ethics of selling seahorses and how they don't live long, so they established a community of polyamorous seahorses that can thrive...More

I really wanted to do this tour. Glad we did even though it’s expensive. Kids under 4 can’t hold the sea horse though. Tour was interesting and enjoyed the guide. Got great pictures and cute shop. Only complaint is the cost.

Visited in Nov 2017 with 3 kids and grandparents. Wasn't sure what to expect but the reviews were good and I can see why. The teach you a lot, take you through all the different sections and then finally let you hold one at the...More

for an interesting stop near the airport, if it's on the way to or back from another excursion, the seahorse farm tour is brief and educational. Glad they are there to help these endangered species!

Enjoyed the fact that this facility is clearly a working sanctuary/breeding/educational environment.

Where else can you hold a seahorse? This experience was fantastic. The tour, learning and chance to hold a seahorse is something we'll never forget. This is a must do!

This was a fun interesting afternoon! Lots of information- seahorses, sea monkeys, aqua-farming, sea grasses. The tiny to full grown seahorses, breeding program and that they dont just sell to you because you want one!! If you take and pass care of them then you...More

This is a fun change of pace from the beach. It was educational and informative and hands on. We got to feed and hold the seahorses. It is mostly outside so be prepared for that.

I first visited 10+ years ago and still enjoyed my tour this time. It's quite educational but our tour guide made it fun and interesting for everyone. Seeing their achievements with sea dragons was wonderful. Knowing that they are making a difference in the survival...More

This tour is fascinating, it is fun to hold a seahorse but is much more fascinating to learn about them and what they are trying to accomplish at this facility. Yes it is a farm to sell seahorses to aquariums and private collectors; but it...More

I agree, call them. They clearly said "no" based on past experience but it can't hurt to ask.

Most of the area surrounding the tanks is rock so it would be difficult to traverse with a walker and/or wheelchair. You also need to get right up to the tanks and peer in to see the seahorses. The tanks are probably 4... More

I think it took our group about an hour and a half to 2 hours max. At the end there are some aquariums with sea horses you can watch and the folks there will answer questions and chat a bit after the main tour/presentations. More
