Loved this unique opportunity to see and hold Seahorses up close. As an endangered species, it’s rare to see them in Aquariums, but this place is doing everything to prevent them from extinction. A great learning experience for everyone about our Marine life. Great photo...More

Other reviews were pretty accurate. We enjoyed the whole tour. Everyone was friendly and informative. It was pricey but figured it was a unique experience so... One thing I wish I did differently put on sunscreen. Thought we were taking a break from the sunny...More

The guided tour takes about an hour during which you’ll learn a lot about seahorses. You’ll even hold one which is so cool. We really like the idea behind the farm and that the farm is independent. The guide has a lot to tell and...More

We did the tour of the farm and found it very good. Our guide was animated and knowledgeable. I felt the price though for the tour was quite steep. The giftshop is very good but the clerk was a little unfriendly especially when we asked...More

Our party of 6 visited the Ocean Rider Seahorse Farm in the morning, which included our 11 year old nephew. The whole tour from start to finish is an hour long. Even though interesting hearing about and seeing seahorses (peering down into tanks), each person...More

This really sweet setup. The tour is very informative and the company is trying to prevent wild seahorses from being captured. Some highlights are seeing the baby seahorses and getting to hold an actual seahorse.

If you are in Kailua Kona, this is an excellent opportunity to take a tour of a seahorse farm and support this business in their endeavours to sustain the seahorse and sea dragon population. And, you get to watch a happy little seahorse wrap its...More

We took the tour just expecting to see seahorses, but our expectations were far exceeded by a fun and informative tour from food sources to the sustainability of the entire system. At the end, you have the option to become a seahorse perch by holding...More

I agree, call them. They clearly said "no" based on past experience but it can't hurt to ask.

Most of the area surrounding the tanks is rock so it would be difficult to traverse with a walker and/or wheelchair. You also need to get right up to the tanks and peer in to see the seahorses. The tanks are probably 4... More
