We celebrated our 35th anniversary on the Big Island and hands down the highlight was our day with Scott on a personalized Volcano Van tour. There was plenty of VOG when we arrived on the Island but Scott cleared the skies and we had a...More
Awesome tour we had of the island. Scott was great- super nice, entertaining and, of course, knowledgeable! Can you say pyrocumulus? We had a blast on this tour- even though we didn't get to "poke it with a stick" since all the lava viewing locations...More
My family of 4 spent the day with Scott at the end of June. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He showed us places and things that we would have known little to nothing about otherwise and he made our trip to the big island...More
Even though most of the park is closed, you will not be disappointed. Scott is Da Bomb! Northern route. Saw 4 of 5 Big Island Volcanoes. So much information...take notes! And have your camera ready! And yes, you will be where the action is! Saddle...More
If you are worried about missing out on great sights because of the recent volcano eruptions and the park being closed, worry not!

Just writing this review after a few months, but wanted to tell everyone that this is an excellent tour! We had a small group of four and joined another two for this tour. During our visit there was no active lava like there is now,...More
Thank you Scott for spending the day with us showing us around your neck of the woods.
Even though I had visited big island previously I had no idea how diverse and fascinating the place was.

Scott, you were amazing! Apologies it's been a few weeks writing this review, however I have to say you were one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we stepped into the van (which is a new Toyota Sienna, contrary to the photo...More

We booked an all day tour back in August. Scott asked us if there was anything specific we wanted to see, as I believe he is willing to build an itinerary around your "must see" list. It was not a shared tour though, it was just with my family.
Lunch was provided on our all day tour and we purchased our own dinner. We saw the Volcano both before and after dinner and we're lucky to see the glow (it was bad weather for us.
It was really a fun and great tour! Everyone had a blast :-)
We just booked online, we booked the day before, we hadn't had a reply so we called up to make sure we had the booking, Scott & his wife were great, so helpful, we can't wait to go back to Kona & go again!
