The two hosts were very nice and you could tell they thought a lot of their town. Unfortunately cant say the same of the town. To be avoided unless you have a lot of time to kill and absolutely nothing else to do. Kind of...More

Years ago this may have been a nice stop but the place is very old and worn out. Frankly I would skip it.

We took a trip back into the old west. They had lost to see and stories to tell. The lady running the shop was very friendly and told us stories that I could of dreamed up. Sometimes real life is more interesting than fiction

Experience life in the early 1800's. Family run, this old west town has been lovingly restored. Wonderful to step inside of these old town buildings and get a up close and personal view of life that took place inside. You will be given a recording...More

Not worth the 4 mile drive out of town to see it. Run down and beat up looking. Not much of an activity to be a tourist draw..more of a mini museum site...sorry!

We stopped by, and it seemed a bit average. The Old town set up was interesting and could be great for a learning tool for kids. yet some of it seemed unfinished. It was a nice way to spend a small time for distraction. Yet...More

Nice little walk through a staged old western town. A bit corny but grandson enjoyed, as did me and the wife. Priced right.

They are two different attractions; 1880 Town is west of Murdo, SD and Four Mile is in Custer, SD. I very much enjoyed Four Mile - I haven't been to 1880 Town, though, so I can't compare the two.
