The Riverwalk is a really exciting place, but it's a clean mall and has a few solid options for shopping.

The wide walkway starts near the French Market and continues to Riverfront Park just south of Canal Street. Lined with benches, somber memorial installations and large art pieces along an expanse of grass with city activities on one side and the Mississippi with its constant...More

There is lots to do touristy. The food court is greatly improved. Solid on the shopping. Affordable. Clean. Great day.

The mall has some nice shop diversity, but I did not see as many of the national chains which you find at other outlet shops around the country. However, that can be good or bad depending on what kind of thing you want from your...More

We were surprised by how many stores were actually inside! Unique stores at that. Food court had a variety of places to eat that weren't your normal run of the mill.

River walk is a great place to spend some time strolling along the Mississippi and watching the push-boat barge combos work. Stay out of the Mall, which could be anywhere. You did not come to New Orleans for that.

Peaceful stroll with some nice art including a Holocaust memorial by the amazing Agam. Take a minute and walk up the circular ramp to view all the varying angles and images he engineered into this piece.

away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
