Mark was an amazing foodie guide. I don’t know how he narrowed down the places we visited on the tour, but I wouldn’t have wanted to miss any of them. Want to enjoy a cocktail or a beer at a stop? It’s not included, but Mark had great recommendations if you wanted to purchase one on your own. I highly recommend this tour - don’t think, just book!

Our guide Ty was very knowledgeable and was able to provide a history lesson with the skill of a good storyteller. We really enjoyed their company too.

Every part of this tour was great. It was a lot of food, but the portions were just the right size. Our guide, Mark, had the pacing between locations down perfect so we weren't stuffed and uncomfortable by the end.
We've been on several tours in various places, and guides often just go through the motions. Mark clearly has a passion for food and his city. His love for NOLA is front and center, and it makes the tour so much better. He's so enthusiastic, and there wasn't a dull moment.
Definitely recommend.

We loved every minute of this tour; best thing we did in New Orleans! Our guide was super knowledgeable and interesting. The food was absolutely delicious and plenty of it (I wish I had eaten less at breakfast!). The stroll through the Garden District was very enjoyable with lots to see.

This was our third tour with this company. It was a great finish after the food and history tours. Our guide, Anderson, was enthusiastic and passionate about the subject and did a great job describing the practice and how it developed in New Orleans! The Voodoo Authentica stop is a must see and best to do it after you learn about the practice.

Glad you hit the trifecta of tours with us! Voodoo is one of the most interesting topics to learn about in New Orleans, since so much of what we think we know about Voodoo has been totally made up for the movies. Thanks for choosing us for three tours on your trip! -Angela

Anderson was absolutely amazing as a guide and person. He was very into the subject matter, and was clearly very emotional about the slavery history of Louisiana. This tour was fascinating because he walks you through the whole history of Voodoo from the moment the slaves are together on the ship to the recent history. It’s highly educational and emotional and he was a fantastic storyteller and brought the history to life with feeling and personality.

What a wonderful review! Andersen IS truly stellar, and as a guide myself, I have to say that talking about slavery is not easy, but it is important to recognize that painful part of our history and certainly integral to any meaningful Voodoo discussion. Andersen is a master at presenting such a difficult subject in a way that is meaningful and respectful. Thank you for learning about this important religion! - Angela

Great way to get to know the French Quarter if you love the history of places! Our guide, Ty, was very knowledgeable about the area and an excellent story teller. He also gave outstanding recommendations for food and drink options after the tour.

Thanks, Brian! Happy to hear Ty and the tour did not disappoint...and neither did the food and cocktail recommendations! -Angela

Excellent selection of local foods with recommendations for drink pairing! Ty had a broad knowledge of New Orleans culture and history. Make sure you don’t eat before you go because there is a lot of food.

Great advice to come with an empty stomach! We figure it's better to err on the side of too much food rather than too little (we like to call it an "eating" tour, not a "tasting" tour, haha). Glad to hear you had an excellent experience. Thanks for the review! -Angela

We did this tour first and then signed up to do two more tours through NO Secrets. Ty was our guide for this one and the French Quarter tour and he was awesome. Both were very small, allowing him to spend lots of time answering all of our questions. He was extremely knowledgeable and knew all kinds of obscure little bits of NOLA info. He had clearly researched and studied the subject matter and knew it inside out. In addition, he was pleasant and personable. He told stories like an actor, with voices and character. It was a very enjoyable and educational experience and we walked away knowing WAY more about New Orleans than we did when we arrived.

Wow! Happy to hear Ty earned your repeat business! Yes, we are very picky when it comes to our guides and Ty is simply one of the city's best. We're so lucky. Thank you for choosing us multiple times...we will strive to keep you coming back! :-) - Angela
