Great visit! Checked out the loop boardwalk trail, the interpretation center & the planetarium. Very cool! Will return in cooler weather to check out the more primitive walking trails.

What a treasure! As per usual with Audubon standards, this place is a gem. There are boardwalk trails as well as natural trails to move about. The visitor center is beautiful with lots of displays, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Mikayla was wonder...More

I second this question. I'm seeing on the website that it is being refurbished after Katrina in one place, and that the "newly rebuilt" building is open in another site.
