This one room free museum is a good stop if you are passing by although security takes some time as you must go through a x-ray machine and provide ID. The interactive kiosks are interesting and the electronic post card is fun for kids. You...More

One room self-guided wall displays about the role of the Fed in US currency. No minting, manufacturing, or otherwise live processes are visible to the public. If you’re in the area you can easily see it all in less than 30 minutes - otherwise the...More

Went here to pass some time near our hotel. This is a nice, free presentation of money. commerce, and banking. Easy to see in 20-30 minutes, worth the time. The only negative is that you have to go through security. But you can design your...More

This is a small, free museum like you would find in other cities with Fed buildings. Chicago has one, for instance. If the front door is locked, just press the assistance button and go through the high security checkpoint. The museum is entirely in the...More

This museum is really tiny, so you only need to schedule 15-20 minutes for a visit. But there is tons of information about the US banking system and also about New Orleans. Plus some cool features, such as creating your own money. Definitely worth visiting...More

There is so much information packed into this tiny space I honestly didn't mind at all that it was small. The displays are informative and well maintained. We were given shredded money to take as a souvenir and my son had a great time designing...More

We stopped in here when we saw the signs. THe museum is small (just the building lobby), but has a lot of interesting info about how financial policies in the US first developed. Not the best place for kids.

Wandered in and was pleasantly surprised. Only a few displays, so only takes about 30 minutes, but you'll learn a lot about our banking system. Plus you can get a free bag of shredded money!

Tiny little museum but the process of getting in and making your own currency with your face on it could be fun for kids - plus its an opportunity to educate with fun. Staff was friendly and you get to leave with a souvenir of...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
