The Convention Center is easily reached via the street car ($1.25 fare one way). This building is quite large, so pack your walking shoes! It is air conditioned to the point that you may need a light sweater in summer if you get cold easily....More

I have been at the convention center for work many years ago. It is a small convention center compared to San Diego and Los Angeles. This time it was for pleasure. The set up and check in process was efficient for the event. The drop...More

This is a nice hall. This is the second time I’ve been here for a convention. The place is huge. I can’t speak to the food service. We didn’t eat at any of the stands.

Long and Large. I have gone to many events at the Convention Center. Nice for events, but inconvenient for walking and parking.

Extremely large convention center. Can be confusing at times because there is a level 2.5. Bring walking shoes. Staff are nice and attentive. Food court selections are limited, but enjoyed some spicy red beans- no meat, and portion was small.

I spent five days in this convention center while exhibiting at a show. I found the food selections terrible and the service even worse. The menus they have displayed don't properly show what they are actually selling. They also don't staff any of the spaces...More

Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district
is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing
assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having
moved in and set up shop throughout the disused
warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much
of the art you'll come across here is local in scope,
ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old

In the hallways it was always around room temperature, but depending on the size/length of your convention that will dictate the temperate inside your venue. Time of year also plays a factor.

The convention center does not have it's own parking lot. You have to use commercial lots in the neighborhood and they are not cheap. You should use public transport or a shuttle from your hotel.
