The Gray line cemetery tour was very informative. Provided a good history not only on New Orleans but the use of above ground tombs. Grey was super informative and obviously well researched. The Oak Alley Plantation tour was a good tour as well. The plantation...More
Our tour guide (Grey) was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. She is a historical scholar of the area. As we passed other groups at the cemetery, it was obvious that the quality of our tour was much better.
We were on one of the 5 motor coaches on Christmas Day that took the Jingle through Crescent City. Our tour guide was very interesting and knowledgeable history graduate from the area. He explained the New Orleans from the beginning until how it has changed...More

Mary will be delighted to know that you and your family enjoyed the tour she provided to Oak Alley. We will share all your comments with her.
This tour visited two plantations from a choice of three. Most people seemed to plump for the same two as us, with only a handful opting for Laura. Not sure why really.
First stop was Whitney which came with an excellent guided tour with plenty...More

Plenty of choices in cemetery tours. Voodoo shop owners to public museum groups. We went with the Gray Line version and we very pleased. The price was in the middle of the tours that involved a price and the information was packed and well presented....More
We booked a Plantation tour from our hotel on St. Charles Street. The main terminal for tour departures is near the Sanchez Steamboat at the river front. They provided transportation there and pointed out where to board our tour bus. One aboard, they did a...More
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the
Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
