Went with another couple for drinks. Got the NA honey cap. It was delicious. The other members of my party enjoyed their whiskey and went back foe a 2nd round. Service was awesome, no wait time at the bar. Will definitely come back.

I had to laugh when reading the other reviews of this place. Especially the unfriendly man-bun bartender. So my wife and I headed on into this place and who’s the first guy I see? Man-bun dude! And yes, watching him showed the disdain he had...More

We loved the Honey cap drink, but have to agree with another reviewer, the man bar tender with long hair does not seem to like his customers. So with that being said I would give product a 10/10 and service a 4/10

Went here with friends to check it out and found that everyone here is very I friendly. The people that work here don't even pay attention to you and the guy behind the bar (with a man bun) seems to hate his customers. He didn't...More

We enjoyed our time here. Staff was friendly and the honey liqueur drinks were great. We had a Groupon, so we also had samples and an appetizer. We were supposed to get glasses too, but they ran out and offered us t-shirts instead. Classy move.

We’d wanted to go here, since trying Old Sugar’s bourbon collaboration with the Great Dane a while back. So glad we did! We sat right next to a still, and tried many goodies. Our favorite was the #6 collaboration whiskey with the House of Brews....More

Distillery laws are changing in many states and apparently in Wisconsin a distillery can operate much like a local brew pub in other states. The Old Sugar is in a neighborhood of older industrial buildings of unique character and value. The interior is spacious and...More

Happened upon this Distillery/Tasting Room when looking for tastings on Groupon. Stopped in on an overnight in Madison. Quite a busy night there. The groupon value was amazing, included tastings, 2 craft cocktails and an appetizer and 2 cocktail glasses. Sat at the bar and...More

Needed to redeem a gift certificate. We were greeted by the Bartender who was also the Production manager. We explained our reason for coming and he was most gracious. We had 2 tastings each and we then purchased a very smooth tasting bottle of rum....More
