The mission of Mid-America Science Museum is to stimulate interest in science, to promote public understanding of the sciences, and to encourage life-long science education through interactive exhibits and programs. The Museum also serves as a premier tourism attraction in Arkansas. The purpose of Mid-America Science Museum is to explain scientific knowledge and concepts to the public through interactive exhibits, activities, workshops, and educational programs. The Museum seeks to stimulate a lifelong interest in science, spark curiosity, reshape attitudes and stir the imagination. Our goal is informal science education that encourages learning in ways not ordinarily found in the workplace, classroom, or home. To achieve this purpose, the Museum will maintain the highest standards in providing quality exhibits, programs, and services for students, citizens, and visitors to Arkansas.

Very nice museum. Go early in day as they close some of exhibits early. The hands on exhibits are just perfect for kiddos.

My kids had a good time over there. there were many interesting facts that I learnt as an adult visiting that place. I strongly recommend this place for a family time.

The AC was out during Memorial Day Weekend, If I had known this, we would never have come. It's a tightly enclosed Museum and without AC, it was highly uncomfortable.More

We took our grand-daughters to the museum. Even though it rained, we were still able to walk through both floors and Tesla theater was just what the girls needed.

Hi Christina! Mid-America Science Museum is really geared toward all ages. Children and adults enjoy the more than 100 hands-on science exhibits, plus the all-new Oaklawn Foundation DinoTrek.

Mid-America Science Museum is open year-round. Beginning Memorial Day Weekend-Labor Day it will be open 7 days a week. Currently closed only on Mondays from Labor Day until Memorial Day.

I am not sure of cost, it is not much we took our 5 yr great granddaughter and 3 great neices, 8. 12 and 13 and they all had a great time and i really enjoyed it
