Unfortunately this USED to be a good snorkelling spot. With so many tourists now walking on the coral, it has been decimated. No one tells them that just touching the coral can damage it for years. It’s barely 1/4 of what it used to be....More

We spent there 3 days and I can say it was awesome. Black sand is better than the yellow one. It doesn't stick to your body that well :) About 10 meters away from the beach you can see corals and schools of fish. You...More

Snorkeling equipment, glass bottom kayaks, umbrellas and beach chairs available. I think $10 for the day. Family staff close by. Not too crowded. Reasonable cafe right there. Also beach front rental units, but not sure of the prices. Try the Eraq, a local alcohoilc drink...More

Would definitely recommend it here if you want to swim or snorkel straight from the shore. Very easy access to the sea. Only did not give 5* because the sun beds are too expensive if you just want an hour there. My wife sat in...More

Very quiet place, with good coral and couple of restaurants which provide sunbeds, food and more. Good for relaxing day in amed.

I love this place! The corals start very shallow so be careful if wading out without a mask. It's not the best for just swimming because of this. I would also suggest wearing beach shoes or start to swim as soon as you can as...More

A trip to East Bali would not be complete without spending time at Lipah Beach...fantastic snorkeling, great beach staff to provide you with a beach chair and umbrella, massages on the beach, and very good restaurants. If you are lucky you will see many beautiful...More

We stayed in Coral View Villas and had snorkelling at our door step on Lipah Beach. Few other great snorkelling spots in the same area as well, which is a shorter away. Saw a great variety of fish and even a sea turtle at dusk!

Saw some cool fish diving at Lipah beach, we saw a few lionfish and some sting rays. The coral was quite dead in the area but there were a couple of nice spots.
