Rented a boat to take us to the beach for snorkeling. The board parked us about 100 meters from the beach, Did see some corals but not that much fish.Had much better snorkeling experience in Hawaii.

Great local beach full of restuarants and coral to snorkel. What is great is there are mid aged women there who give 1 hour massages for $6 (aud) as you lounge on your sunbed. Team this with some beachside cocktails and it's a great place...More

Jemeluk beach has the best variety of fish and coral for snorkelling and the vendors who rent out snorkelling gear are laid back friendly women; no hassle. In the water there is a sunken temple and we saw lovely large clams in all different colours,...More

Soooo many fish! We had lunch at Sama Sama which was delicious and then ventured into the warm calm waters. Loads to see and brilliant visibility too.

We stayed in Selang, Amed area for 4 days and visited Jemeluk Bay for the snorkelling and Sunset Point. From the right hand side of the bay, restaurants offer sunbeds for rent (R50,000 - 100,000 all day) or, if you buy lunch, the sunbed comes...More

Lovely Bay in the beautiful Amed area. Lots of cafes, warungs, hotels and dive suppliers. Try the SUP boarding on this smooth bay.

I have been going to Amed for about 16 years. The beach is now used as a tranport pick up and drop off point for fast boats going to Gili Islands Lombok. My personal feeling is that this large-boat activity has negatively affected the diving...More

Beautiful coral, close to the black sand beach. Lots of fish. Warungs right on the beach. But coral is EXTREMELY fragile, so please don’t touch, stand or walk on it. It’s heart breaking how much has been damaged by inconsiderate local and foreign tourists. The...More

Easy access to nice coral and good snorkling! Safe spot for beginners but beautiful enough for the experienced. Nice places to eat and drink nearby.
