The fort is well maintained, has gardens, topiaries and stones depicting the history. You can also see foundry used for casting weapons. There is a park also.

It is situated 34 km from Kanyakumari.Built during the regime of king Marthanda Varma (1729-1758AD)This fort also had a foundry for casting guns.

A place for Eco tourism, this is a small forest like place under the forest authorities. There is a Park, small zoo, a ruined Church with cemetery etc.

Its located in puliyurkurichi, near Thuckalay on Trivandrum road. If u go by afternoon it will be less crowded. Need to walk a bit inside to see birds, tombs, and various trees. U can rent a bicycle inside to roam around.
