The Sunset point isn't really well defined or well developed. Its far from the Car parking for Vivekananda Memorial although battery operated carts are available to drop people to the Sunset Point. For those staying in far off Thiruvanantpuram, the Sunset didn't really offer much

Seems like it is over hyped. I can get this view at any city. I didn't enjoyed it much. It's like normal sunset.

It is in walking distance from the hotel. Worth seeing. It spectacular view. Go with good camera fitted with zoom.

Such a lovely and beautiful place. We walked till there from our hotel and it is at the corner where you see the sunset. It's amazing. Worth a watch.

being December is winter season i couldn't see the sunset, may be next time whenever i visit, i will try to visit in summer to see the sunset and sunrise

The sunset point is about 200m behind the Ghandi Museum along the beach.

Good to check the sunset time and reach 30 min before .. 5:30 - 5:45 PM should be good.
