Located 6 kms from main city easily approachable by an auto. This temple is dedicated to Narashimha incarnation of Lord Vishnu .. Worth visiting

A divine place to visit and is about 6 Kms from the city. We hired a 3 wheeler for rupees 250 and visited the place. The Narasimha Idol is very impressive and so also the Linga at the same place. There was not much rush...More

Lord Vishnu is worshipped in Narasimha's form in this temple. His consort Goddess Lakshmi is also worshipped here. The temple is located 6 Kilometres away from Bijapur city centre. It's very well maintained.

This is an ancient temple. The presiding deity here is Lord Narashimha who is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Thin crowd was there in the morning hours when we visited. It's a small temple.

We -family -Visited Torvi for Thread Ceremony - in Narasimha Swamy temple.Temple is nice and learnt Idol was transferred to a cave to protect from the Muslim raiders. Lord Narasimha is Family Diety of many in district and close by. Not much rushed Temple. Happy...More
