Went in morning, the day of our return. Need to be bare chest for males, parking available. Peaceful place to visit, dip in water needed before darshan, we missed it :-)

really unique and wonderful Pal payasam Temple is big and a architectural marvel. book for the unique pal payasam ( rice pudding) is awesome. Book in advance not to miss as the qty daily prepared is limited

It is possible to visit the Ambalapuzha temple and return back to Alleppy in about 3 hours time if you leave early morning say around 6.30 am. I did not visit the St.Mary's church so can not give any information on that. All... More
