Maybe during the special events or if a family member is there to explain things, this is worth the visit, but paying money and looking at dirty old fabric and toys was not very interesting. There are a few art installations and a music making...More

So this is an art museum that used to be a store owned by a prominent member of the Jewish community. The grandson, when she died, decided to make an art museum using everything that was in the store when she died at the time....More

This is a great concept. I loved seeing all the old toys and reminiscing about all the ones I used to have as a child. The art around the space is very cool. Unless you are there to participate in one of their events or...More

I went here with some family to check it out. It's a cool place with an interesting story. I think I would be interested to learn more about the community of artists if I lived there.

The variety includes everything from suitcases to vintage toys to vinyl record albums, fabric and ribbons, to cigarette lighters, to...More

Elsewhere is absolutely unique. On the day my friend and I visited, kids were playing on swings that hang half in and half out of the front of the building. That set the tone for the whole experience. Once inside, we were welcomed by one...More

I've been going to Elsewhere since it first opened. They are so innovative and interesting. One time they opened during closed hours for some out of town guests.

Elsewhere is an art "museum" and art collective. The building housed a thrift shop that became the museum. All of the stuff is still there and isn't sold but is used by the artists to create works. Stop by if you want to see a...More
