Black Diamond Backyard is a nearly 2 acre urban oasis on the edge of downtown Greensboro North Carolina. Initially created a a large food forest to serve the community the mission grew to create a large urban bio-reserve offering a rambling and biologically diverse nature experience for urbanites. There are over 100 fruiting shrubs and trees onsite and leashed pets are welcome.

Beautiful area located right outside of downtown Greensboro that provides even more character to the already artsy section of Westerwood. Highly recommended to check out on a sunny day for relaxation and personal meditation.

I feel like this spot put together by essentially one dude is begging to be discovered. There's garden beds, an orchard, bees and wide open land right in the middle of the city. If you find yourself in Greensboro this is a nice little afternoon...More
