    Beautiful View
The walk is tricky and you need to be slow and careful and it's not a traditional paved walkway with steps. All downhill going, and uphill coming back. It's more of a hike on rocks. There was a handrail but it was very hot to the touch in May.

    Short visit attraction.
Looks like a smaller version of Hoover Dam. You can view the dam from the bridge that is next to the visitors center. It is set up for pictures with windows in the fence on both sides of the bridge and places to cross the road.

    Scenic view!
Approaching our hotel I noticed the very scenic view of the dam just down the road. When checking I I found out there is a lookout just across the road. The parking lot was small but fortunately we parked right away. There is a handrail to navigate down the sand rocks. Definitely worth the hike down and then the uphill hike back . Wear good shoes.

    A great experience.
Stunning views over the dam. Even the bridge crossing towards the Visitor Centre offers good photographic opportunities. The Visitor center is large, good gift store and a section to the right that offers lots of interactive posters and educational material. Head out the back door for more views of the dam. Don't forget to stamp your National Parks book!

Quick must see (like a smaller Hoover Dam)
This was worth stopping to see. We spent about 20 mins here. You cannot walk across the dam, but from the visitors center, you can see from several good angles the dam. There is a small museum type area where you overlook the dam inside, as well as a small gift shop. You can walk across the bridge as well.

We passed this on our way from the Grand Canyon to our hotel in Utah. This is a great place to just stop by for a minute and take some pictures from the overlook-bridge. There are some small holes in the fence to take some pictures of the dam.

This is another pretty little hike and view. We stopped here after doing Horseshoe Bend and to take advantage of the sunset.

Stupendous. Marvel of engineering. Can easily access both sides of road and see the lake as well as drop off to canyon

Very interesting dam! A great engineering masterpiece and a wünderbar nature, learnt a lot. We also took a trail near the dam down to the Colorado River

Great views. Wish they were doing tours again. Shut down when covid hit. Should be open by now. Museum was open to walk through. Great stop before hitting the beach or a boat tour at lake Powell.

The views were the amazing part but the hike down to see the dam was somewhat difficult to traverse. The metal pipe that was the handrail was very hot to the touch and you couldn't walk up/down one section without grasping the pipe. The sand was very slick on top of the rocks. Take your time and be careful.

Stunning vistas, breathtaking really. Highly recommend. Was a little frustrated at seeing so many shards of glass from broken bottles but that would not deter me from going again.
