This huge sports and concert complex transformed this neighborhood and probably accelerated the gentrification of central Brooklyn. Certainly spawned a lot of nearby restaurants. Lots of people come here all the time for events. Well served by the subway and the train.

I took my grandson to the Barclay's Center for the NBA Draft on June 22nd. We live in Pennsylvania and drove three hours to Brooklyn for this trip. Our view of the big screen to watch the event was totally blocked by speakers hanging from the ceiling. I have tried to contact Barclay's management both through email and social media and they don't even take the time to reply. I paid $400 for a hotel in Brooklyn and almost $200 for tickets and my grandson was ready to leave after just ten picks. Barclay's really let us down.

Some people think this big arena sparked the revival of Brooklyn, but I think it started long before. Certainly it brings a lot of people to the Atlantic Yards area for a show, a basketball game, or some food. Puts lots of people on the street. Sometimes there are community events here. Well-served by public transit.

Won tickets to a basketball game here through work - it was great to finally be able to visit the Barclays Center. The suite was awesome – great seating, nice appliances and bathroom too. Would love to go back for a concert in the future.

Visited for a Nets basketball game and was very disappointed by the facilities. The main entrance was closed for entry and the side entrance que took such a long time that we missed the first quarter, despite showing up early for the game. Security was slow and staff rude. The space in-front of the seats is so narrow it is very hard to walk to your seat without stepping on other people’s toes, that’s if they even stand up and let you pass - which they did not several times. The bathrooms are far away from the seating. The drink situation is what frustrated me even more. The “Bev Express” charged me $31.57 plus another pending amount of $9.46 for two beer cans 😳 there was no prices and I didn’t expect them to cost me $20 each.

The center is the same, but the area is very changed in the last year. The shops of sports memorabilia are now closed. The mall are reduced.

My first visit to Barclays for a basketball game, Nets vs. Pacers. Facility has very clean lines. Great views of the court. Lower bowl is close to the court. Upper seating areas are far from the court and very steep. Not desirable. Love the Brooklyn food and drink concessions. Very smart move. Tip: Use the Amex entrance if you have an Amex card. Easy access from subway or local trains.

I traveled to see the Wilder fight and was not disappointed. The section to sit in is 7 row 1 seat 18. The venue was clean and the staff was really nice. Tons of bars closeby to kill time before an event.

This is a new modern arena famous for basketball, but also used for music. It is well-served by the subway and the LIRR, but people show up in cars, pay a fortune to park and then get stuck in traffic jams. Use public transit.
