Went bowling on a Sunday afternoon with my wife and 8 yo daughter. They charge for lanes by the 1/2 hr. Who bowls for 30 minutes anyway? Service was good drinks as well, but a little more pizazz with the food, i.e. make nachos more appealing like with salsa guacamole etc…plus different sauces for buffalo wings. Could lower the price on draft beers to.

But we’ll be back for more strikes on the bowling alley,

A brilliant place, very friendly staff and great looking. We went to see a funk dance band and they were exceptional. It was only $20 to get in and the drinks are very reasonable. I would deffo recommend a night out either bowling or listening to music and take in a visit to Williamsburg if you’re staying In Manhattan. It’s a very friendly and trendy neighbourhood.

Brooklyn Bowl - Nashville

This is a much belated review of the Brooklyn Bowl. I need to convey how absolutely terrific my experience with this venue was.

My wife and I came from Florida to Nashville to see my all time favorite band from Japan, BAND-MAID. 5 extraordinary, talented lady musicians on their 10-year anniversary tour.

We decided to check the venue out a few days ahead of the concert. The staff on hand that day were extraordinarily friendly and helpful. From the security folks to the ticket concert organizers to the floor manager, Noah, and the restaurant staff. Everyone took time from their tasks to show us the venue, answer questions, and they seemed interested in the band as well. We ate there and had a wonderful evening.

On the day of the concert, I witnessed staff make special accommodations for one person in line who has autism and couldn’t wear arm bracelets. I watched them bring out water to a lady in line who was suffering from a reaction to her medication in the heat. The concert line and promotional items were handled very efficiently.

Noah gave my wife and I extra special treatment for which I will be forever grateful. I felt like a VIP watching my favorite band that night. I will never forget the awesome experience and treatment!

It was also wonderful that they let the members of BAND-MAID roll some bowling balls during their intermission. The ladies of the band commented about this as a special moment on their US tour. How cool is that?

Good food. Strong drinks (I’m not usually one to drink, but the mood was right and the drinks were good!)

Brooklyn Bowl has special people working there. A unique atmosphere with bowling and a balcony overlooking a minor league baseball park. I give them 5-stars and my thanks.

Came here for a concert and wasn't quite sure of the set up based on the online pics. So...you have the stage, concert area to the back of the building/street side when you walk in. There is standing room only, and if you want a good spot, get there early. This pic below is from like 7:10 pm with a 7:30 show time. But the main act, it was packed, and I was almost pushed to the stage...so get there early. Not to mention if you're short...gotta be close to improve your sightline.

The music and sound was amazing! Standing so close to the stage you could feel the bass. Only downside was if you needed to go to the restroom, you are SOL trying to get back to your spot. We immediately closed into open space...so you move, you lose.

Show finished around 10:30pm and there was another late show?!?! So crazy. Getting a lyft/uber home was easy...train getting there was fine...back at night wasn't my cup of tea. :)

We drove all the way in from Franklin to bowl at this place and they wouldn’t accept my 23 year old daughter’s ID! No matter what we did they would NOT accept it! Unless you have your passport I would not recommend showing up to this crazy place.🤦‍♀️

This is an amazing concert venue which serves just about all ages—no exaggeration! Visited multiple times for different events. On this particular occasion the reggae band ‘Taj and Adowa’ played. His sultry satisfying voice set the mood for my evening-desire satisfied.

The service is great, food can be better—shrimp and calamari WAYYY overdone. Red wine👍. Oh! Check out the restrooms-woodwork, admirable. Venue is 9mins walk from the closest train so cab-it if you are late. Go check it out!

First timer at BB, been looking forward to for ages.
Pros: great set up for bands, good sound, decent food, good selection of drinks, screens throughout to see the band if you’re towards the back

Cons: no seating where the stage is, could easily have bar stools, can’t sit at the bar where the booths are and have a drink, was turned away during the show, bar service in the main area is cold & impersonal, too far from subways in either direction (guess it’s ok if you live in Brooklyn, but not good for coming from the city)

I would possibly go back, but with Irving Plaza, Webster Hall (open again), and the Cutting Room, in the City, won’t be rushing back.

I must be here every week. Went to see Meat Puppets. Great. Jamming, fun, good times. The audience were like zombies. Come on people loosen up. Music is good for the soul.
Anyway, it is standing room only. Sets start on time and if there isn't a DJ or EMO party at 11pm music lasts well past midnite. :).
Beers are Brooklyn about $8 a pop. Highly recommend you come for happy hour which ends at 7? Full bar.
I love the Bowl they have great music, great sound system(though this night the vocals were very low. I was shocked never happens but after 3 songs they corrected it and I continued to sway and raise my hands in glory).
Another time, I brought my 5 years old nephew to a Sunday kid's jam with FISHBONE!!!!!!!!!!!! that was awesome. I was so happy for him and me. If your kids like music I would encourage the Sunday kid's jam.
I'll be back this week for Nashville Pussy - cant wait. Wish there was like a club for all of us that attend shows here. I am here maybe... 52 weeks in a year ...hmmm.. 20 times a year.
They do have a restaurant haven't tried it yet but I heard the fried chicken is good. There is also bowling. Not sure of the prices, heard they were steep. I'm not a bowler so it doesn't matter to me. But for music come on down. Sets start at 8. Depends on how many bands are playing. Headliner would be about 9/10 again depending if there is or isn't a DJ at 11pm.

There is a water jug for the thrifty of which in this expensive Williamsburg area is plentiful. I am a native Brooklynite and I love that I can walk to my music(only perk for gentrification).
Shout out to Lucas at the Brooklyn Bowl - always helpful with set times and other information. This is Anna from the old RBAR.
