Savannah has so many sqares, but this one has a park with a fragrant garden, fountain, lots of wide open lawn. There's an interactive xylophone that's lots of fun. Well kept grounds and plenty of shade.

We stopped and walked around for a bit. There are bathroom facilities there. A huge water fountain that is kid friendly to run and play in as well as a play ground. We parked right at the building. No cost.

Gorgeous trees and gardens. Very well kept. Nice to stroll or relax, have a picnic and enjoy nature. My favorite park in Savannah.

A wonderful time strolling under the huge, spanish moss laden, live oak trees. The fountain is beautiful too. Take the time to read the monuments and appreciate its history. Playground for the kids lots of fun.

If you want a good picture, get there early to avoid the crowds. Stopping by to see the main fountain won’t take you but a few minutes.

I don’t know what is going on with Savannah, but the last three times we have visited we have been overwhelmed with the amount of homeless people in public areas both panhandling and or simply loitering. Our family had not been in town for 15...More
