    An Enjoyable Dinner!
Returning after a number of years, the experience was excellent, as before! Our request for a corner window table for 4 was honored. Shared fried green tomato appetizer was enjoyed by all. Entrees, scallops, flounder, chicken pot pie, and chicken breast were excellent. Service was a cut above. An enjoyable dinner!

    Visited Twice in One Week
We had dinner at The Olde Pink House twice during our visit to Savannah. The first time we dined upstairs and we enjoyed our dinners. The second time was downstairs and this was not as enjoyable as our first visit. The seating downstairs is really limited and the wait for a table can be very long.

    Historical mansion with great food
Wonderful historical place to eat, restaurant is in a beautiful old mansion. Elevators are available because the stairs are steep. We had Crab Beignets as appetizer, so good! For entree I had crab cake with fried green tomatoes and a salad and hubby had buffalo chicken tacos. Both were great. Our server Jennean (sp?) was knowledgeable about all the food and told us history about the house. After the meal we toured the house. If you want dinner reservations I suggest you make them about two weeks before your trip on Open Table. They do take a few walk ins for lunch and dinner but there is not many. We did a walk in for lunch and got there about 10:45 and did not wait long at all. I would love to eat here again someday.

Go to the bar if you can't get a reservation in the dining room.
My sisters and I were so bummed that we couldn't get a dinner reservation. But we found that we could drop into the bar anyway. Although we were for cocktails and not for dinner, we did sample a few things. Fried green tomatoes, macaroni and cheese stuffed poppers, pecan pie and peach cobbler. Everything was amazing. Do not miss this. We sat at the bar, John provided excellent service.

    An absolute MUST!
We are still talking about how delicious the food was, starting with the biscuits! (we took 5 to go!) We had the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken dinner, and the pecan crusted chicken...WOW!!! Our server, Ian, offered his opinions and he didn't steer us wrong! And then there's the ambiance...I felt transported back in time while walking through the many different & unique rooms of the house (be sure to check them all out - they come in many different sizes and shapes and definitely see the basement bar & wine caves!) My only complaint is that OPH is not closer to Brooklyn!

    Couldn't have been much better!
Absolutely stunning... atmosphere, food and service! Our waitress (i honestly forgot her name, and that makes me mad) was spot on. A younger lady that was working the upstairs night of July 6th. (single mother and teacher) she was personable and professional. Food and timing was impeccable. Highly recommend.

    Must Go
Please add this to your list of places to visit. If you are planning a trip make reservations now. They have room for walk ins but the basement is first come first serve. What a treat for the senses.

    Best of Savannah..
We had dinner here on our 45th wedding anniversary July 8th in the library and as I had expected it was wonderful! I had the fried chicken and my wife had pecan crusted chicken..both were fantastic. Definitely order biscuits..they melt in your mouth. Our server Briana was an absolute delight, very knowledgeable about the menu and very, very friendly! We are planning a trip during this December and plan upon dining here every night. Also I would suggest after dinner to go to the bar downstairs and listen to Kenny Munshaw at the piano!

    Can be overhwelming
I'm not too much of a foodie, but I did enjoy what I believe was a pecan-crusted chicken. Was very good I must say, but Savannah is such a rich town that I would not want anyone to limit themselves or stress over going here. My one main dilemma with this place is it does take a lot of time in its reputation, and that is reflected in its customer service. While it is great, it becomes overbearing. Imagine Disney World Cast Members, but times A HUNDRED. I requested this one item on the menu that ended up being out of stock and said it was all good, next thing I knew, 4 different workers at all various lengths were coming to me. I appreciate it, but they were making a big deal out of fries. Do you want to have a fancy night and feel a bit like royalty? Perfect! This place is for you. But if you get overwhelmed and want to know more about local life, try out a different spot.

Lived up to the hype. We loved the cozy side room, others might prefer the ballroom
We made reservations long in advance of our visit to Savannah, as we heard it was hard to get in. The Olde Pink House more than lived up to its reputation and I am so glad we went. The ambiance is phenomenal. We were seated in one of the smaller side rooms and greatly preferred it to the larger ballroom. It was much cozier, although less "grand" so you might want to request a particular room based on your preferences. The drinks, food, and service were all first-rate. The pork tenderloin entree was especially notable. The dinner was a highlight of our stay and we will definitely be back.

I highly recommend eating at this restaurant it’s right in the center of Savannah and also make sure you make reservations way in advance when you know you’re visiting Savannah it gets booked up fast . The house itself has lot of history the waiter was very knowledgeable on telling us about it. The food and cocktails were amazing I had the crusted pecan chicken and my husband had a steak both dishes were delicious.

My first visit to the Olde Pink House was like something out of a dream. Earlier that day, my daughter and I were walking by the restaurant, and one of the employees was working on the landscaping. I complimented him on the great work he was doing. He asked me if I'd ever been in the restaurant, and I said that I would be dining there that night for the first time. He said, "Go on in! Take a tour!" I was concerned I might be bothering the staff, but he told me the place was not yet open. So we stepped through the door into an antebellum masterpiece. We chatted with the lovely young woman at the reception desk, and toured every floor. I was flabbergasted at how beautiful the place is - from the ballroom, every room, to the allegedly haunted basement bar. The portraits! The elements of period chinoiserie! Our dinner that night was magnificent. Lauren, our server, was perfect - so knowledgeable about the menu, the wine list - and just delightful. Winston, the manager, came by to ensure we were enjoying our meal. He was great in every respect. I will be revisiting the Olde Pink House in my dreams.

The Olde Pink House is a lovely place to visit. The home is a historic treasure with beautiful rooms. It’s a pleasure to enjoy a meal there. That being said I don’t feel our dining experience was up to expectations. Our waiter (whose name I unfortunately don’t remember) was very friendly, enthusiastic and took good care of us. However, my first choice of entree was the chicken pot pie which we were told was not available. A few other reviews here stated the same. What’s with that? Are they no longer serving it but haven’t taken it off the menu? But, no problem. I ordered the pork tenderloin only to have the waiter return in 10 minutes to apologize that that entree was also not available. I then ordered the fried chicken which was very good and was delivered smoking hot. It came with so-so Mac ‘n Cheese but no vegetable which I thought was odd. Also, the chicken (an extremely generous amount) was piled in a bowl instead of a plate which made it difficult to cut. I figured fried chicken should be eaten with your fingers so I dived in! My dining companion’s Pecan encrusted chicken was very good. Our white wine was a disappointment as it was not chilled properly. In summary, we enjoyed the experience of dining in such a beautiful venue, the service was very good but the meal was something of a let down, especially at the price level. Not horrible; just not up to expectations.

Fabulous lunch with superb service! I travel quite a bit solo and find that so many restaurant servers will ignore a solo table which is unfortunate. At the Pink House my server Noah was fantastic and so pleasant! I ordered the shrimp and grits which was excellent with the pink lady cocktail which especially on a hot day was extremely welcomed. This meal has one of my highlights in Savannah!

We went for lunch in this beautiful old, historic mansion, which is gorgeous! We discussed a few appetizers with our server and chose the Southern Sushi. We were brought the spring rolls instead. Our server indicated that they could fix it, but the appetizer would come with our entrees, so we took the spring rolls. They were shrimp, sausage and crab. They were very good, but we couldn't taste the crab, it was lost among the other flavors. I ordered the Mahi Tacos, which were presented beautifully on a board do you could make your own. Unfortunately, the fish was overcooked. Overall, they were still very good but my expectations were high. My son got the shrimp and grits which he enjoyed.
I would expect when a mistake is made at a fine dining establishment they offer a drink, dessert, or discount. Not here.
Overall a nice experience, with some flaws.

Hostess went out of his way to get us seating. Service was welcoming and professional. Spinach and mashed potatoes had no seasoning, collard greens were seasoned but a little heavy on vinegar side. Excellent fried chicken and pork chops. My glass of ginger ale was in a small juice glass. This may be bc we were seates at the bar.

We were in Savannah for our anniversary and thought the Olde Pink House was an appropriate place to celebrate the occasion. We were not “wowed”by such a historic place. The house itself is gorgeous , but the food was just ok. They were out of pot pie and I had to go with another choice which was disappointing. Never got my drink but was charged for it and when I asked for it to be removed from the bill, I was told they could bring it right now to which I said NO, we are leaving. We did enjoy the house itself but not necessarily the meal.

I was so looking forward to this Unfortunately for us not a good experience at all. We were seated in a corner at a very small table. Service was not good. Other than when we ordered and got our food the server never came to our table. ordered the scored flounder, the house specialty, and it was very disappointing. Over cooked and very tough and tasteless. Maybe the normal chef was off? We would have loved dessert but the server didn't come back after we had finished our meal. We asked another server if she could get our check. That's when our server came back. Would not go back
