My son and I enjoyed our visit here, great displays, art and information. They have a nice property and gardens too. It was a good price as well. It’s walking distance to the Savannah shops and restaurants too.

Thank Angela H

In the beautiful old mansion, home of the Scarboroughs in the early 1800, the Ships of the Sea Museum has mounted an outstanding display of model ship important in the history of the coastal area.

I love walking around the ground of the Ships of the Sea Museum. The building is nicely restored. There are models of old ships significant to Savannah history.

Small Museum, but interesting and informative. You can walk through in an hour or two. Worth a visit.

If you like maritime history, be sure to give it a go. It's very well done. The old mansion housing the museum is also quite attractive.

I do not recall about the parking as we walked from our hotel. Sorry. Admission was $8.50 per person. You will need to like models (I do) in order to get your monies worth.
