About
As one of America's oldest seaports, Inner Harbor is now an important landmark and popular tourist destination. Follow the brick promenade through this bustling complex of eateries, stores, museums and entertainment venues. Rent a paddle boat to have some fun in the water with the kids, or take them to the National Aquarium which is one of the nation’s largest. History buffs will enjoy touring the heritage ships anchored in the harbor, while travelers of all ages can soak up the marvelous views from the Top of the World Observation Level. Sightseeing tours and scavenger hunts are two other great activities at the Inner Harbor.

We had an uneventful experience. However, half the restaurants only have take out, the shopping hours are 11:00-5pm, and the Barnes and Noble in the iconic Power Plant is closed forever. Social distancing was very easy because even on a weekday Thursday/Friday there was very little foot traffic. I said half day because there is not a multiple day worth of activities. All boating in the harbor looked closed, and the only child activity to do is the aquarium and with one way traffic and no shows this will only take 2-3 hours of day. Find a restaurant that has indoor or outdoor seating and you will have no trouble with traffic getting out of city.

There is something about the Inner Harbor in Baltimore that is so inviting. We had the opportunity to view it from a different vantage point. We were visiting friends in the Harbor Court Condos where the views are just stunning. We arrived just as the sun was starting to set that created some very interesting shadows on the buildings around the harbor. It was truly beautiful.

We walked the entire perimeter of Baltimore's Inner Harbor on a beautifully sunny day. Visualizing the historical aspects of the Harbor, including the ship Constellation, was sensational. The green shirt harbor guides are wonderful too. Definitely worth seeing while downtown.

Not what it once was. Most of the shopping is closed, restaurants closed, homeless everywhere. Quite sad really to see what has happened.
We visited to see a baseball game, that part was great but otherwise I would never go back.
Note aquarium is now on a time schedule for tickets, you can not simply walk in so even that being the only other attraction available and we were unable to go.

The Inner Harbor with the Aquarium and seaport is quite nice. However, I was terribly disappointed to see that the family feel I expected was ruined by dining. Why on earth a Hooters restaurant was placed in this location is beyond belief. Not what I want to see when walking the Harbor. How totally humiliating when bringing your family to walk around the Harbor. My 22 year old daughter said "Talk about inequality (as she wore her sweatshirt that says 'Equality'." I won't be back.

Stayed at the Renaissance hotel for New Year’s Eve. My husband purchased water front/Inner harbor view(more money)! Ordered microwave early on so we would have one in our room which of course is a extra fee and didn’t get until after 7 checking in is at 4pm and it was damn near 7 when we got into our rooms. They where definitely not prepared for the amount of people checking in for the night. You would have thought they would have extended everyone’s stay and additional hour considering how much time we stood in line and the cost to stay for one night. Room has cheap towels and wash cloths no tissues in room and limited cosmetics such as lotion in room things that usually come standard in a 4 star hotel. View was nice and good location.

I went there with my sister's a few weeks ago. We went to the Inner Harbor every day and it just seem run down. We ate at Phillips restaurant the first night. My salmon dish was ok the calamari was like frozen calamari from a grocery store. That night there was a concert playing so you could hear the music and just stand on the pier. Parking is at least $10.00 or more everywhere around Inner Harbor.

It was sad none of the ships were open to tour all three days we went there. I would have liked to tour the ships.

There was a very nice 9/11 memorial for the plane that hit in PA affecting Baltimore residents. I would have like to go to top of the world trade center, which was only 8 floors up, but you had to pay for that too like $8.00. I would rather go up for free and pay that for a drink.

None of the shops seemed open when I was there around 6pm just weird how it was not fully operational during the prime springtime of the year with tourists all around.

Don't ever expect to go back again.

I had not been to the Inner Harbor in years. A number of reviews certainly raise eyebrows, but I found it fun and enjoyable. I went on a very, very hot day and walking along the water was pleasant. The pavilions are much less lively than I remember them (they were great fun) and can be skipped (except for the AC on hot days), but the museums, aquarium and ships remain. There are also water taxis to other spots. A number of reviews mention homeless people. We saw a few (less than a half dozen, maybe due to the heat), but they were just sitting on benches. The vast majority of people were tourists (the Yankees were in town and Aaron Judge t-shirts were everywhere) and locals strolling babies, riding bikes and jogging. One serene moment -- a band and singer were practicing on the other side of the harbor under a tent, with the mellifluous sounds carrying across the water as boats passed. In sum, I'd visit again, choosing a nice day and maybe a weekend or day with an event in town (though this may jack up parking costs) to assure the area is lively and safe (though, again, I felt fine, but recognize I am only one data point).

There’s still lots of fun to be had in the inner Harbor but many of the neat stores that I enjoyed on previous visits are long gone and the restaurant choices are limited with many chains. If your coming here your probably doing it with a specific destination such as the aquarium or historic ships in mind. Still it’s a nice place to spend a day with good views and people watching.

The Inner Harbor never disappoints. Just a great vibe when you walk around. Had some drinks outside over looking the Harbor. We're entertained by someone playing a trumpet, a man walking with a snake around his neck. and a small band. Great place to pregame before heading to Camden Yards.
